Every body tells a story — posture, pain, stiffness, and imbalance are your body’s way of asking for help. At your first visit, we begin with a detailed body assessment, allowing me to listen to what your body is trying to say — before any treatment begins.

What Is a Body Assessment?
A body assessment is a professional visual and physical analysis of your posture, muscle tone, alignment, and movement patterns. It’s the foundation for personalised, effective therapy — especially if you're experiencing pain, tension, or movement issues.
Your body assessment includes:
Standing posture analysis (front, side, and back view)
Observation of muscular symmetry or imbalances
Joint alignment checks (shoulders, hips, knees, ankles)
Range of motion testing (neck, spine, limbs)
Questions about lifestyle, habits, work demands, and exercise routine
Palpation of tight, weak, or overcompensating areas
Why Is a Body Assessment Important?
It reveals hidden issues you may not notice:
Do your shoulders sit uneven?
Is your lower back arching too much?
Are your knees rotating in or out?
Do your hips shift to one side when you walk or stand?
Is one side of your body tighter or stronger than the other?
These small signs point to deeper issues that, if ignored, lead to chronic discomfort, restricted mobility, or injury. This is your body speaking — and as your therapist, I listen closely.
What Happens After the Assessment?
Once we identify your body’s needs, we create a targeted treatment plan that may include:
Sports or Deep Tissue Massage
Passive Stretching Therapy
Myofascial Release
Cupping or Kinesio Taping
Post-treatment advice and movement suggestions
Our goal is not just to relieve symptoms — but to begin correcting the root cause and improve your posture, movement, and daily function over time.
Who Needs This Assessment?
New clients (especially first-time visitors). Anyone with unexplained pain, stiffness, or posture issues. People who train regularly or have physically demanding jobs. Those recovering from injury or managing muscular imbalance. Clients who want results — not just a relaxing session.
