Chair Massage at Workplace

Empowering teams to feel better, move better, and work better.

Seated Chair Massage

Chair Massage for Businesses

I offer on-site chair massage for businesses that want to support their employees’ wellbeing and performance. Chair massage is a convenient way to help staff relax, release muscle tension, and reduce stress without leaving the workplace.

Each session takes place on a professional ergonomic massage chair and is performed fully clothed, so there is no need to undress or use oils. This makes it ideal for busy office environments where employees can enjoy a massage during their working hours with minimal interruption.

Wellness at Work

How It Works

Chair massage focuses on the neck, shoulders, back, arms, and hands — the areas most affected by daily work posture and stress.

  • 20-minute massage: 3 employees per hour - A quick and energising treatment ideal for busy schedules.

  • 30-minute massage: 2 employees per hour - A deeper session focused on tension relief and relaxation.

I bring everything needed for the session, and only a small quiet area or meeting room is required.

The minimum booking is 3 hours, subject to availability and working hours.

What Chair Massage Targets and How It Helps

Chair massage focuses on the muscles and areas most affected by stress, posture, and daily work habits. Each treatment is designed to bring quick relief, improve mobility, and restore energy — all while your employees remain fully clothed and comfortable.

Targeted Areas

During a chair massage, I work on the key muscle groups that accumulate the most tension during the workday:

  • Neck and Shoulders:
Focus on the trapezius, levator scapulae, and rhomboids — muscles that tighten from looking at screens or sitting in one position for too long.
→ Relieves stiffness, headaches, and upper back tension.

  • Upper and Lower Back:
Targets the erector spinae, latissimus dorsi, and quadratus lumborum — essential for maintaining posture and spinal support.
→ Improves posture, reduces back pain, and increases flexibility.

  • Arms and Forearms:
Works on the deltoids, biceps, triceps, and forearm flexors/extensors — often overused when typing, using a mouse, or performing repetitive tasks.
→ Releases tightness, prevents strain, and improves circulation.

  • Hands and Wrists:
Focus on the small intrinsic muscles of the hand and forearm tendons.
→ Eases fatigue, stiffness, and repetitive strain symptoms.

  • Scalp and Head (optional):
Gentle work around the occipital area and temples to relax facial muscles and ease mental tension.
→ Reduces stress and promotes clear focus.

Why Employees Need Chair Massage

Modern working life puts continuous strain on the body — whether standing, sitting, or performing repetitive movements. Chair massage directly addresses these problems:

  • Long hours seated:
Leads to tension in the lower back, neck, and shoulders due to poor posture and reduced circulation.
→ Massage improves posture, mobility, and reduces muscular fatigue.

  • Standing for long periods:
Creates tightness in the lower back, legs, and hips from static load-bearing positions.
→ Massage improves blood flow and eases lower back discomfort.

  • High stress and pressure:
Increases muscle tension and cortisol levels.
→ Massage helps calm the nervous system and reduces stress.

  • Repetitive tasks (typing, manual work, etc.):
Overuse of forearm and hand muscles can cause tightness and discomfort.
→ Massage releases built-up tension and prevents repetitive strain.

  • Poor posture or long screen time:
Causes rounded shoulders, stiff neck, and tension headaches.
→ Massage restores alignment and relieves tension in the upper back and neck.

How It Benefits the Body

Chair massage provides immediate physical and mental benefits that employees can feel after just one session:

  • Increases blood flow and oxygen supply to muscles

  • Promotes muscle recovery and tissue mobility

  • Reduces muscular pain, fatigue, and stiffness

  • Improves posture and range of motion

  • Supports mental clarity, focus, and calmness

  • Boosts energy and mood naturally

Regular chair massage sessions help prevent chronic discomfort, increase productivity, and create a healthier, more motivated work environment.
